Jason Behr has signed on for a persona in the second season of Breakout Kings on DVD.

The former Roswell star will act a convicted raper and manslayer named Darius, according to TELEVISION Line.

After disclosing free from prison house, Darius will likely be pursued by Duchamp (Laz Alonso) and his team. Behr is currently only signalized for a single show but the persona could fall back on the A&E play.

The thespian starred in Roswell from 1999 to 2002 and has also appeared in episodes of Dawson’s Creek, JAG and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

His movie credits include 2001 ’s The Shipping News and 2004 ’s The Grudge.

Breakout Kings DVD was originally picked up for a second season in July.

Behr will appear in the season premiere, which begins snapping next week. The show will return to A&E in early 2012.
